The first Leadership is Listening episode is with a respected leader, Mark Spurlock. Mark started as a direct Xerox sales rep 40 years ago. He started Innovative Business Systems in 1992 and sold his company to Benchmark in 2013.
His success as an Agent owner is a true testament to his leadership style and ability.
Mark has a passion for cycling.
Mark also believes in giving back. On May 18th, 2016 Mark’s cycling club hosted a 10-mile bike ride called Ride of Silence that promotes bicycle safety and to honor those in Abilene and West Texas who have been killed in a cycling accident.
One of my goals in starting Leadership is Listening is to create a vessel for helping people and I believe it can serve a higher purpose by giving back.
I set a goal for downloads and charged $1.99 for each one. We didn’t reach our goal this time, but I’m hoping to do better next time.
